Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of delivery or box truck driving experience preferred
- Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in the past year
- Valid driver's license for vehicle class
- Must be 21 years or older
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly with physical movements including bending and twisting
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must obtain and maintain DOT certification
- Adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Safety 1st mentality
- 1+ years of box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
- Minimum 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Current driver's license relevant to vehicle types/classes driven during company business
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting, and occasionally lift more than 50lbs
- Ability to complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
- Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
- Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
- Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- Maintain exceptional customer service based on People Focused Values
- Come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by NTW
- Operate various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed
- Perform other duties as requested or needed
