Job Duties
- Perform vehicle walk-around and document customer concerns to enable accurate diagnosis
- Consult with customers on applicable service specials
- Prioritize required services and provide options upon request
- Document declines and follow up on future service considerations
- Keep customers informed on completion times, expenses, and changes
- Participate in vehicle delivery to ensure all concerns are addressed
- Test drive vehicles with customers to confirm problems
- Provide concierge support for owner inquiries
- Schedule service appointments and obtain customer and vehicle data
- Greet customers and refer to service history
- Inspect vehicles and recommend additional service
- Provide written cost estimates for labor and parts
- Establish customer’s payment method and obtain credit approval
- Monitor repair progress and communicate changes
- Review repair orders for completion and authorization
- Explain completed work and charges
- Follow quality control processes to eliminate comebacks
