Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work various shifts including mornings and evenings
- must be able to complete job tasks efficiently
- have valid food handlers permit or ability to obtain
- compassionate attitude towards seniors
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- meet all health and safety standards
- pass background check
Job Qualifications
- must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- obtain food handlers permit as required by state regulations
- have compassion for and desire to work with seniors
- perform job duties for residents and with team members in a courteous and professional manner
- work as part of the dietary team to ensure efficient and safe kitchen operations
- be honest, fair, dependable, and respect confidentiality and rights of others
- communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
- meet all health requirements
- pass criminal background check
Job Duties
- deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely manner
- maintain a schedule for meal service
- provide first-class customer service
- work as part of the dietary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
- comply with health and safety regulations
- communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and vendors
- assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining area
