Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or hospitality
- ability to work part-time shifts including weekdays and every other weekend
- dependable and punctual
- capable of standing for extended periods
- good communication skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurants, diners, pubs, bars, banquet serving, senior living communities, food service at malls, fast food restaurants, catering companies or events
- knowledge of proper serving etiquette
- ability to communicate courteously and effectively
- understanding of diet policies and procedures
- strong attention to detail
- ability to maintain professionalism and appearance
- customer service skills
Job Duties
- Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation, and organization standards
- adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards
- maintain dining room appearance and presentation
- provide speedy, accurate, and efficient service
- set tables and maintain workstations
- take orders, answer menu questions, and serve with courtesy
- clear dishes and assist with dishwashing
- promote an inviting dining atmosphere
- understand and serve diets per policy
- represent the community warmly
