Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or related field
- availability to work weekdays and every other weekend
- ability to perform physical tasks related to serving such as standing for long periods, carrying trays and setting tables
- excellent interpersonal skills
- adherence to hygiene and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurants, diners, pubs, bars, banquet serving, senior living communities, food service at malls, fast food restaurants, catering companies or events
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work day and evening shifts including weekends
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to follow dietary guidelines
- professionalism in conduct and appearance
Job Duties
- Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation, and organization standards
- adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards
- maintain dining room appearance and presentation
- demonstrate speed, accuracy, and efficiency in serving
- set tables and maintain workstations
- take orders and provide courteous service
- clear and reset tables, assist with dishwashing
- serve customers with proper etiquette and promote an inviting atmosphere
- know and serve diets correctly according to policy
- represent community positively
- support business decisions to drive revenue and occupancy
