Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability for day and evening shifts including weekdays and every other weekend
- Ability to work non-negotiable hours
- Experience in food service industry preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurants, diners, pubs, bars, banquet serving, senior living communities, food service at malls, fast food restaurants, or catering companies
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of food quality and presentation standards
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and policies
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Professional appearance and conduct
Job Duties
- Exemplify Foulk Manor standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization at all times
- Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards
- Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards
- Serve with speed, accuracy and efficiency
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
- Take orders, provide service and answer questions about menu items courteously
- Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing and table resetting
- Serve using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
- Follow dietary policies and serve diets correctly
- Represent the community warmly creating a positive marketing environment
