Job Duties
- Develop a positive customer service culture in the dining room through staff training
- Evaluate the quality of service and develop systems to maximize efficiency of meal delivery while maintaining a pleasant dining experience
- Ensure staff provides service that maintains good resident experiences during meal times
- Circulate in the dining room to ascertain resident preferences and satisfaction with meals
- Develop service systems that balance quality and speed of meal delivery
- Maintain a clean dining room including equipment, walls, table tops and bases, and chairs
- Ensure linens are changed as needed and keep tabletop condiments clean
- Ensure safe work practices and manage unsafe actions
- Responsible for washing and cleaning all dishes
- Foster teamwork and show initiative beyond job responsibilities
- Positively impact co-workers, residents, and visitors
