- able to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- able to perform physical tasks related to the role such as lifting and standing
- committed to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to provide courteous and friendly service
- strong teamwork orientation
- basic food safety knowledge is an asset
- ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays
- prior hospitality or customer service experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Set and clear tables
- take residents' dining orders and provide the highest level of customer service
- review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining options
- assist with the preparation, delivery and cleanup of daily meals, banquets and special events
- create a strong sense of teamwork with colleagues and positive relationships with residents
- clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers and dining equipment
