Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive demeanor and strong work ethic
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical ability to carry trays and perform reaching and stooping motions
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Food Server preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and active listening abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and desire to exceed guest expectations
- Knowledge of food and beverage menu items
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to move effectively throughout the dining room
- Ability to lift and carry trays up to 15 pounds and bus tubs up to 40 pounds
- Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide menus
- Assist guests with questions about the menu and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Input orders into the POS system with precision
- Communicate modifications and dietary requests to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Check for order accuracy before delivery
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs
- Clear tables efficiently
- Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils
- Reset tables promptly
- Encourage guests to explore appetizers, desserts, and specialty drinks
- Present bills, process payments accurately, and provide change or receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bussers, and servers
- Assist colleagues during peak times
