Job Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
- ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40lbs
- ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a food server preferred but not required
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- strong communication and active listening abilities
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- positive attitude and a desire to exceed guest expectations
- knowledge of food and beverage menu items
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide menus
- assist guests with questions about the menu and specials
- take accurate food and beverage orders
- input orders into the POS system with precision
- serve food and beverages promptly checking for accuracy
- clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests
- encourage guests to explore menu options to enhance their experience
- present bills and process payments accurately
- maintain a clean and organized workstation
- collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers for smooth service
