Job Requirements
- must have an excellent customer service orientation
- must be reliable and accurate with menu items and ordering
- prefer one or more years of experience in food service or customer interaction
- ability to tolerate and diffuse aggressive behavior
- basic knowledge of therapeutic diets and sanitary practices
- ability to read and write English
- hold current State of Washington Food Handler's permit
Job Qualifications
- excellent customer service orientation
- pleasant and cheerful disposition
- one or more years of experience working in a food service setting or dealing directly with customers preferred
- demonstrated patience and genuine caring attitude toward elderly and disabled persons
- ability to handle and diffuse challenging customer behavior
- basic knowledge of therapeutic diets
- basic knowledge of sanitary practices and HAACP guidelines
- ability to read and write menu items in English
- current State of Washington Food Handler's permit
- demonstrated skill and experience related to wait staff responsibilities
Job Duties
- set tables attractively prior to meal service
- serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner
- clear tables and clean dining areas promptly after meals
- provide accurate information regarding food and meal services
- respond to customer comments and feedback related to food service
- maintain knowledge of menu items and therapeutic diets
- adhere to health and safety standards including HAACP guidelines
