Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter in fine dining or banquet service
  • Minimum of one year experience selling and serving wine and other beverages
  • Passionate about hospitality and customer service
  • Professional appearance and good hygiene

Job Duties

  • Assist with achieving departmental guest satisfaction targets and food and beverage revenues by following established service strategies and optimizing up-sell opportunities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as directed
  • Be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS and carry out policies and procedures appropriate for the position
  • Ensure assigned station is properly cleaned and set-up at the end of meal periods and complete all assigned side-work
  • Comply with sequence of service for food and beverage and direct and instruct Assistant Waiters to ensure timely service
  • Resolve service and product deficiencies to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Perform additional jobs as assigned including manning non-cooking buffet action stations and assisting with room service and private parties
