Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and beverage pairings
  • Effectively communicate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Monitor and manage table turnover to optimize seating capacity
  • Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Answer customer questions regarding the menu, specials, and beverage options
  • Upsell additional menu items or suggest promotions to enhance the guest experience
  • Promote featured dishes, drinks, and events to boost sales
  • Ensure tables are set up appropriately and are clean and presentable
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth dining experience
  • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
  • Handle cash and electronic transactions responsibly
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to maintain a cohesive and positive team environment
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth service operations
