Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a food server in a full service restaurant concept or any role in full service restaurant business
  • Food safety and BASSET certification
  • Ability to demonstrate focus on guest needs
  • Ability to use POS systems preferred
  • Leadership role in restaurant industry preferred

Job Duties

  • Warmly greets guests after seating
  • Serve guests per established steps of service
  • Assist other servers and team members as needed
  • Have a thorough understanding of food and drink offerings including specials and promotions
  • Practice suggestive selling to assist guests
  • Follow all company procedures for guest age verification for alcohol sales
  • Ensure food and beverages meet quality and presentation standards
  • Follow all cash handling procedures
  • Complete pre-shift, running shift, and post shift set-up, cleaning and stocking tasks
  • Alert management if a guest is suspected to be intoxicated
  • Maintain knowledge of restaurant operations and policies
  • Resolve guest complaints and escalate when necessary
  • Acknowledge guests when they leave and invite them back
  • Assist with cleanliness and maintenance of dining and service areas
  • Ensure a harassment free environment
  • Uphold safety and security standards
  • Complete assigned cleaning projects
  • Maintain professional appearance and restaurant image
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
