Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a country club, restaurant, or hotel preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Energetic, passionate, driven, and eager to learn
  • Ability to greet all members and guests in a friendly and approachable manner
  • Willingness to develop a strong knowledge of menus
  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist to reach
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform continuous repetitive motions
  • Proof of Hep A vaccination
  • Certificate of State of Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training (SMART) if of legal age to serve alcohol

Job Duties

  • Uphold the highest level of service for our Members and their guests
  • Maintain a friendly and open attitude for all Members and staff alike
  • Setup, maintain, and break down numerous types of banquet functions including linens, china, silverware, glassware, server stations, banquet service items
  • Understand content and follow through with information on Banquet Event Orders (BEO) as it pertains to the event as well as future events
  • Greet Members and guide them through service
  • Understand steps of service for all banquet and a la carte events
  • Maintain sense of urgency when on and off the floor
  • Ensure proper storage of all banquet and food items
  • Ability to move and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance
  • Work as a team with both Banquet and A La Carte staff to anticipate and go above and beyond for our Members
  • Help team reach common goals
  • Adhere to set quality, consistency, and efficiency expectations and standards
  • Communicate any additional changes to Food and Beverage Manager and back of house leader as needed
  • Assume ownership of their section and table service throughout each shift
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by A la Carte Server Captain and Food & Beverage Director
