Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to undergo criminal and background screening
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting dishes and kitchen equipment
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant or customer service is a plus but not required as training is provided
- Be open to changing roles and assisting wherever needed
- Maintain a positive attitude especially in busy times
- Exhibit patience and understanding when handling customer requests or concerns
- Able to recognize and maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas
- Enjoy making people happy with good food
- Work well in a team environment with Culinary and Waitstaff team
- Take pride in maintaining a tidy and safe environment
- Remain calm and give your best effort during busy periods
Job Duties
- Prep food as needed per the Culinary Director
- Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they are happy
- Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner
- Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area spick and span
- Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe
- After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks
- Get hands-on with dishwashing, making sure everything sparkles and shines for the next round of deliciousness
- Jump in to help clear tables and keep the dining rooms looking great so every meal feels special for our residents
- Support the team by serving resident meals as needed
- Be the hero of hygiene, making sure floors and surfaces are always at their best
