Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in washing dishes and general cleaning of industrial or restaurant kitchens
- Must obtain or hold any required food handling or sanitation licenses or certificates
- Valid First Aid Certification required
- Must be available for on-call emergency situations and weekend coverage on a rotating basis
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to meet health, safety, and service standards
- Flexibility and adaptability

Job Qualifications

- Obtain or hold any local, state, and/or county required food handling or sanitation licenses or certificates
- Must possess a valid First Aid Certification and be available for on-call emergency situations and weekend coverage on a rotating basis
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to understand and meet standards for health, safety, and excellence
Job Duties
- Take beverage and meal orders from residents
- Coordinate with the kitchen and serve according to standards
- Address any issues or concerns raised by residents
- Maintain all safety and sanitation rules and regulations
- Clean floors, empty trash cans, stock food supplies, wash and sanitize dishes
- Perform general cleaning of the dietary department including vents, ovens, vent hoods, and outside garbage area
- Organize stock and make deliveries as needed
