Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Prior experience in washing dishes and general cleaning of industrial or restaurant kitchens
  • Obtain or hold local, state and/or county required food handling or sanitation licenses or certificates
  • Valid First Aid Certification
  • Availability for on-call emergency situations and rotating weekend coverage
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Ability to meet health, safety, and excellence standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Take beverage and meal orders from residents
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and serve according to standards
  • Address any issues or concerns promptly
  • Maintain all safety and sanitation rules and regulations
  • Clean floors, empty trash cans, stock food supplies, wash and sanitize dishes, and clean other work areas
  • Perform general cleaning of dietary department including vents, ovens, and vent hoods
  • Organize stock and make deliveries as needed
