Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required unless waived by Human Resources Management
- minimum of two years working in the food and beverage and/or hospitality industry required
- one year of bartending work required unless waived by hiring manager
- must obtain a ABC certificate of safe alcohol server training as required
- required to have and obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
- must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
- must be able to pass background investigation
- must obtain and maintain gaming license
- excellent interpersonal communication, guest service, attention to detail and problem solving skills required
- must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- ability to use hands for dexterity
- ability to stoop, bend, kneel or crouch
- must have normal auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communications skills
Job Qualifications

- knowledge bartending and bar maintenance operations and customer service
- knowledge of all bar items and liquors
- knowledge of POS systems
- knowledge of basic math and arithmetic
- knowledge of all menu items including entrees, side dishes, beverages, non-alcoholic, alcoholic, wine and desserts
- knowledge of proper hand and tray service
- skill in interpersonal and customer relations
- ability to operate a cash register
- ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- ability to work independently and meet strict time lines
Job Duties
- Promotes positive customer relations, greets customers and creates a friendly atmosphere
- promotes and documents orders for drinks, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested by memory
- takes orders from customers in a prompt and friendly manner
- inspects menus and special cards daily to insure they are presented to the guest
- prepare all food and/or beverage items using prep sheets and standard ingredient recipes
- prepares and serves cocktails and other beverages accurately and without waste according to the customer's specifications and ABC requirements
- inputs orders at the point of sale
- creates checks for each customer/party/server
- maintains accountability of all beverages served
- prepare and display all food and merchandise in accordance to ServeSafe and other regulatory standards
- presents an accurate check to guest in a timely fashion
- thanks patrons and invites them to return
- cleans up after customers at the bar and maintains an orderly and clean work area at all times
- maintains proper and adequate bar set up
- washes glassware and utensils after each use
- serves food to customers seated at the bar as requested
- checks identification and legitimacy of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for the purchase of alcohol products
- provide safe and responsible alcohol services by determining when a customer has had too much alcohol
- ensures all display cases and refrigerators are clean and stocked throughout shift
- maintains an organized work area for convenient guest interaction and safety
- maintains inventory, supplies and prepares food based on business volumes as directed by Supervisors using par levels
- must be knowledgeable for full utilization of the Point of Sale (POS) system
- responsible for cash-handling practices adherent to Casino-wide, Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures
- counting cash, separating charge slips, and ensuring cash tips are input into tip pouches immediately
- ensures dining area tables cleaned and maintained properly throughout the shift
- cleans shelves, counters and windows
- responds to customer questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- safeguards casino monies by balancing house bank at the beginning and end of each shift
- arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
