Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED unless waived by Human Resources
  • Minimum six months of customer service experience
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
  • Ability to pass background investigation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain gaming license
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months of customer service experience
  • Food and beverage experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service principles
  • Familiarity with basic math and arithmetic
  • Understanding of menu items including entrees, sides, beverages, alcoholic drinks, wine, and desserts
  • Skill in providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to use POS and computer equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food and beverage items according to prep sheets and recipes
  • Prepare and display food and merchandise meeting ServSafe and regulatory standards
  • Maintain inventory and supplies based on business volumes and supervisor direction
  • Utilize POS system effectively
  • Handle cash following casino and food service policies
  • Count cash, separate charge slips, and input cash tips accurately
  • Clean and maintain dining area tables throughout shifts
  • Clean shelves, counters, and windows
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and food equipment
  • Set up and maintain stations and prepare food
  • Stock and clean display cases and refrigerators during shifts
  • Maintain organized work areas to ensure guest interaction and safety
  • Answer guest questions about food venues, beverage service, and casino information
  • Properly bag or package purchases for guests
  • Follow proper order taking sequence and service standards
  • Greet and take orders promptly and professionally
  • Serve food accurately and timely
  • Maintain attentive customer service throughout dining experience
  • Memorize menu items, recipes, and specials to assist guests
  • Maintain cleanliness in restaurant, stations, and kitchen as per health requirements
  • Perform restocking and cleaning duties as assigned for opening and closing
  • Control guest checks by following established procedures
  • Receive accurate payment and safeguard guest and restaurant interests
  • Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings for product and service knowledge
  • Respond timely to customer inquiries for quality service
  • Report maintenance and housekeeping issues
