Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to lift and carry trays up to 30 lbs
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate Point of Sale system
- Knowledge of basic food and beverage etiquette
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Compliance with state and federal regulations regarding alcohol service
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to work as part of a team and assist others
- Regular attendance and punctuality

- Maintain a professional appearance and manner
- Willingness to assist co-workers and be a team player
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards
- Knowledge of table settings, service ware, and menu items
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to transport trays up to 30 lbs
- Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment
- Ability to establish effective relationships with associates and guests
- Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
Job Duties
- Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions
- Record order details and verify accuracy with guests
- Input orders into Point of Sale system
- Retrieve and deliver orders from kitchen, confirming accuracy
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
- Replenish beverages and check in with guests for satisfaction
- Market and serve desserts and specialty coffees upon request
- Operate Point of Sale procedures to pre-check and close out orders
- Present checks promptly
- Clear and reset tables quickly and consistently
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations
- Serve beverages, bread and butter and replenish as needed
- Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- Comply with attendance rules
- Perform other assigned duties
