Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Current adult beverage certification or ability to attain
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail or dining environment preferred
  • Knowledge of wine and beverage service beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service preferred or willingness to obtain

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet, acknowledge, and take guests drink and food orders
  • Provide information about menu items and suggest additional sales opportunities
  • Engage guests in a friendly and professional manner to create memorable first and last impressions
  • Maintain comprehensive wine knowledge including flavor profiles and pricing guidelines
  • Process point of sale transactions quickly and efficiently
  • Build guest loyalty and enhance selling skills using training materials
  • Collaborate with fellow employees and management to ensure an excellent guest experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Support other bar areas as needed including seating customers, answering phones, stocking, cleanup, and documentation
  • Respond appropriately to guest concerns
  • Maintain current adult beverage certification and ensure responsible alcohol service
