Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior bartending or serving experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- excellent customer service skills
- strong communication skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to multitask
- willingness to learn about Asian cuisine
- obtain Basset/Food Handler's Certification within 45 days
- legal eligibility to work in the United States

- familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- basic knowledge or interest in Asian cuisine advantageous
Job Duties
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- attend to customers upon entrance with a friendly greeting
- take over host's position if unavailable to seat customers
- present restaurant menus and help customers select food and beverages
- take and serve orders with communication to FOH, BOH, and Executive Sushi Chef
- take orders in-person, online, and over the phone managing flow of in-house food
- repeat orders for guest confirmation and process payments in point-of-sale
- correctly enter orders in point-of-sale following established guidelines and adapt to adjustments
- package food and beverages remembering special requests
- answer questions and make recommendations for complementary products
- collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
- deal with complaints positively and escalate issues
- issue bills and accept payments
- obtain Basset/Food Handler's Certification within 45 days
