Job Requirements
- Entry level bartending experience required
- One year minimum of customer service experience preferably within the Food & Beverage industry
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated and flexible, possessing the ability to take initiative
- Flexible schedule, able to work mornings, nights, holidays and weekends
- Experience in a luxury world-class hotel or equivalent

Job Duties
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Process payment from customers
- Clean glasses and bar utensil
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant
- Prepare and serve meal accompaniments to guests
- Perform side work
- Open bottled wine for guests
- Bus and set tables, as needed
- Perform set up and breakdown of various stations (i.e., deli, dessert, coffee, espresso)
- Assist with orders to go, as needed
- Seat guests and help with answering phones as business demands
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must have food and wine knowledge for pairing suggestions
- Up sells established menu items or specials to maximize food and beverage revenues
- Communicate with support crew and management
