Job Duties
- Prepare room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils
- protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- respond to additional
- transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices
- identify patrons' special dietary needs and special requests of member/guest requirements by inquiring of needs
- observe dining process
- efficiently serve food in a friendly and courteous manner
- follow the service sequence and standards of the club according to the training manual
- have complete knowledge of all menu items including preparation
- ensure that food preparation and presentations are proper throughout the guest's dining experience
- maintain proper timing and coordination with the kitchen for timely food deliveries
- ensure proper set up and maintenance of the kitchen service stations, both hot and cold lines, including condiment area, soup area, and dessert area
- ensure all plates are dollied, stacked, and ready
- ensure sufficient set-ups for service area
- keep service trays clean and neatly stacked
- prepare and stack bread plates and napkins
- keep condiments clean and ready for each service delivery
- assist in dining room clearing tables and resetting when business demands
- adjust for missing silverware
- adhere to schedules and attendance at all service and pre-shift meetings
- work as a team member with the kitchen staff, expeditor, servers, server assistants, and supervisors
- obtain revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host person, returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons
- assist in the set up and breakdown of buffets if applicable
- perform any work-related items as required by supervisor or manager
- perform other duties as requested
