Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two years serving experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol
  • Fine dining experience
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Job Duties

  • Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating
  • Describes specials of the day to guests
  • Answers questions regarding menu items and offers suggestions
  • Takes food and beverage orders from guests
  • Delivers food and beverages promptly after preparation
  • Follows-up with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Replenishes items as needed
  • Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
  • Maintains organized workstation and side duties
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions using Point of Sale system
  • Follows established systems for order taking and delivery
  • Maintains standards for greeting, cocktail service, and general service techniques
  • Practices tray service for all food and beverage service
  • Incorporates safe work practices
  • Performs other duties as required
