Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of catering or food and beverage operations experience
- Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining professional grooming and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of catering experience and/or food and beverage operations
- Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles
- Knowledge of food and beverage catering equipment and set-up
- Must live near or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA
- Must be highly organized
- Must be friendly with a customer service mentality
- Must be a phenomenal team player
- Must have impeccable integrity for the business, the community, and the Proof of the Pudding team
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs
- Renowned time management and organization skills
- Strong customer service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs
- The ability to work alone and as a team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Willing to drive a CMV is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure the setting of tables completely according to diagram and/or sample table
- Responsible for setting buffet stations which may include decor
- Responsible for setting up tables and chairs in event spaces and the breakdown of event spaces
- Responsible for unloading/loading event trucks
- Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques
- Keep work area clean, and coordinate actions with the banquet team members, and all other members of the front and back of the house to ensure flawless customer service
- Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene
- Reporting to the Captain and performing any task that they assign in order to execute a flawless event
