Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum one year experience in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living preferred
Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certification
Ability to maintain ServeSafe certification
Ability to maintain Local Health Department Food Handler Card
Ability to use Sunrise systems for order taking and meal delivery
Comply with all food safety and sanitation requirements
Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
Ability to pass drug test and meet other health and safety requirements
Ability to attend training and meetings as required

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
Maintain certifications including CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe, Local Health Department Food Handler Card
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Possess written and verbal communication skills
Competent in organizational and time management skills
Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Job Duties

Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
Bus and reset tables per company standards
Clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
Complete required side work as assigned
Attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
Maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
Assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
Use Sunrise systems for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
Practice safe food handling procedures at all times
Comply with regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety
Perform other Dining Services duties such as washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating
Participate actively as a member of a team and commit to working toward team goals
Demonstrate the Team Member Credo in daily interactions
Commit to serving residents and guests through the Principles of Service
Contribute to overall engagement programs
Attend regular meetings
Maintain compliance in required training
Perform other duties as assigned
