Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or senior living
- maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- maintain ServeSafe certification
- maintain local health department food handler card
- ability to use Sunrise systems for order taking and delivery
- adherence to federal, state, and local food safety laws
- compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- willingness to participate in pre-employment drug testing and health screenings
- ability to perform physical tasks related to food service
- availability to attend required training and meetings
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- certifications in CPR and First Aid
- ServeSafe certification
- local health department food handler card
- competency in communication skills including written and verbal
- ability to handle multiple priorities
- strong organizational and time management skills
- good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- bus and reset tables per company standards
- clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- complete required side work as assigned
- attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- use Sunrise systems for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- practice safe food handling procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies
- comply with occupational health and safety regulations and Risk Management programs
- perform other Dining Services duties as assigned including washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating
- participate actively as a team member and commit to team goals
- demonstrate Team Member Credo in daily interactions
- contribute to engagement programs
- attend regular meetings
- maintain compliance in required training
- perform other duties as assigned
