Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- moderate to considerable physical effort including working from ladders in awkward positions
- ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 25-50 pounds
- ability to handle workplace hazards such as cleaning supplies and potential slips and falls
- ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, employees, and the public
- ability to follow instructions carefully
- ability to work in a noisy indoor environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- prior customer service or waiting experience preferred
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to operate a POS system and handle cash reconciliations
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to maintain professional appearance and punctuality
- knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons of the golf course facilities
- greet customers warmly and use standard sales approach
- have thorough knowledge of menu contents and daily specials
- confirm orders for accuracy and serve meals timely
- have thorough knowledge of beverages including house brand liquors, beer and wine
- work in an organized and expedient manner, anticipate guests' needs
- clear dishes and tables as needed
- assist bus person when possible
- maintain a clean and organized workspace
- perform side work duties and work opening and closing shifts as directed
- attend team and organizational meetings, training, and events
- professionally represent the department
- perform other duties as assigned
