Job Requirements

  • Partial high school education
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • ability to stand for entire work day
  • ability to lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 35 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • physical ability to move frequently and bend, reach, and lift
  • ability to read and write work-related documents in English
  • speech clarity and comprehension in English
  • able to work in fast-paced environment
  • physical presence at job site essential

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a polite, positive manner
  • take beverage orders
  • check patrons' identification for age verification
  • answer questions about the menu
  • explain menu items and preparation methods
  • suggest menu items
  • submit food orders to the kitchen
  • serve entrees efficiently and friendly
  • maintain pleasant dining experience
  • check on guests periodically
  • deliver check and complete transactions accurately
  • perform clean-up duties after meals
  • prepare and set up for next meal
  • keep assigned tables clean and properly set up
  • vacuum and arrange tables and chairs
  • stock service areas with supplies
  • report gratuities at end of shift
  • maintain awareness of safety issues and report to management
