Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Effective communication via ability to read, write and speak English
- Maintains required food handler certifications
- Previous experience in dining hospitality or senior living preferred
- Understanding of food measurements and equivalents
- Willingness to work and interact with active senior adults
- Must be able to work weekends

Job Duties
- Responsible for proper dining set-up and folding dining room linens
- Responsible for providing meal, dining and table services to residents, guests and staff
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
- Writes order on check and makes sure the diners and Dining Room Supervisor each receive a copy
- Properly utilizes the POS (full Count) system
- Relays order to kitchen, serves beverages and courses from kitchen and/or buffet station
- Paces course delivery and sequence according to established procedures
- Serves water and other beverages and ensures they are refreshed throughout meal service
- Clears and resets counters and/or tables at conclusion of each course
- Assists in keeping tables and chairs, floors, linens and serving stations clean, bussed and stocked
