Job Description
Our culinary family is a dedicated team within a senior living community, focused on providing heartfelt hospitality alongside excellent dining experiences. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work part-time on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- Must be able to pass a criminal background screening
- Valid proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or commitment to obtain vaccination within 30 days, unless exempted
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to stand and serve for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service is preferred but not required
- Be friendly and approachable to make guests feel welcome
- Maintain a positive attitude especially during busy times
- Show patience and understanding when addressing customer requests or concerns
- Be attentive to cleanliness and help keep the dining area tidy and safe
Job Duties
- Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents
- Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy
- Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe
- Tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly
- After each meal, set up the dining room again and take pride in how it looks
