Job Requirements

Criminal background screening
Ability to provide valid proof of full COVID-19 vaccination before commencing work or commitment to obtain vaccination within 30 days unless exempted
Part-time availability as per specified schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays 4PM-7:30PM, Wednesdays 7AM-2PM)
Strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and dining staff
Commitment to food safety standards
Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant or customer service roles is a plus but not required
Friendly and approachable demeanor to make guests feel welcome
Ability to stay positive and maintain composure during busy times
Patience and understanding when addressing customers’ requests or concerns
Attention to cleanliness and safety in the dining area

Job Duties

Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents
Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they’re happy
Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe
Tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly
After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks
