Job Requirements
- Criminal background screening
- Full COVID-19 vaccination or commitment to obtain within 30 days unless exempted
- Ability to work specified shifts from 8am-2pm Wednesday and Thursday, and 11:30am-7:30pm Monday
- Willingness to learn and adhere to food safety and cleanliness standards
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work with senior residents
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a restaurant or customer service is helpful but not required
- Friendly and easy to approach to make guests feel welcome
- Stay positive, especially when it’s busy
- Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns
- Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe
Job Duties
- Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents
- Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they’re happy
- Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe
- Tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly
- After each meal, set up the dining room again and take pride in how it looks
