Job Requirements

Experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred
Knowledge of menu planning and fine dining service is advantageous
Proficient in food preparation cooking techniques and food handling practices
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable
Strong culinary skills including knife skills and meal preparation expertise
Familiarity with catering services is a plus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment
A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

Job Duties

Greet and seat guests presenting menus and providing information about daily specials
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently ensuring all guest requests are met
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner adhering to presentation standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely meal preparation
Handle cash and process payments accurately while maintaining the integrity of the cash register
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including tables utensils and condiments
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience
Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices
