Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous serving experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Passion for food and customer service
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Experience in upscale or fine dining
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Previous hospitality training or certifications preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
- Present menus and provide detailed information on daily specials and menu items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Upsell menu items such as wines, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
