Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous serving experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Passion for food and customer service
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in upscale or fine dining
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Previous hospitality training or certifications preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
  • Present menus and provide detailed information on daily specials and menu items
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience
  • Upsell menu items such as wines, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
