Job Requirements

  • Previous serving experience in a fast-paced or fine dining environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Skilled in multitasking and managing time efficiently
  • Knowledge of sushi and Japanese cuisine is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

  • Availability to work lunch service, dinner service, scheduled days as required

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests warmly with a smile and maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit
  • Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and prompt service from seating to final check to ultimately finishing the meal and exiting the restaurant
  • Guide guests through the menu, offer suggestions, and answer questions about sushi and beverage options
  • Ensure accuracy in taking and delivering orders, with close attention to detail to reduce and eliminate mistakes
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, including kitchen staff and hosts, to provide a smooth service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • Handle transactions efficiently and accurately using the POS system
  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
