Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food service preferred
  • California Food Handler permit
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Ability to pass drug screening
  • Ability to pass TB screening
  • Ability to pass health screening

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D. preferred
  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred
  • California Food Handler certification
  • Understanding of quality customer service and satisfaction
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Set up the meal service area prior to meal periods
  • Deliver meals promptly and efficiently to residents and guests
  • Provide friendly and courteous customer service throughout meal service
  • Clean up the meal service area after meal periods
  • Ensure dining areas are tidy and properly maintained during service
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management about service needs
  • Follow health and safety regulations during food service
