Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Valid California Food Handler certification required
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to pass TB screening
- Ability to pass health screening
Job Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent G E D preferred
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred
- Valid California Food Handler certification
- Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in food service
Job Duties
- Set up meal service areas prior to meal times
- Deliver meals and beverages to residents efficiently and courteously
- Clean up dining areas after meals including clearing dishes and sanitizing tables
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Provide friendly and congenial service to enhance resident dining experience
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management about resident needs and meal service issues
- Follow all health and safety guidelines during meal service
