Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to three months related server experience preferred
  • Meet state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol
  • Possess current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
  • Ability to apply dining standards effectively
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to three months related server experience preferred
  • Must meet state and federal minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
  • Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification required
  • Ability to understand and implement dining standards
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations including discounts and percentages
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality by being knowledgeable about the resort and dining area
  • Write orders and relay food and beverage orders accurately to kitchen and bar staff
  • Serve food and beverages and clear tables following service etiquette
  • Connect with guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction
  • Work as a team following direction from Lead Server or Food and Beverage Manager
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and return correct change
  • Notice and report potential safety or customer concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned
