Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior food and beverage service experience preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- must maintain current adult beverage service certification
- ability to stand for extended periods
- legal authorization to work in the United States

- confident wine knowledge or willingness to learn
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- current adult beverage certification or ability to obtain
Job Duties
- Warmly greet, acknowledge, and take guests drink and food orders
- provide information about menu items and look for opportunities for additional sales
- engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
- create a lasting first and last impression
- be responsible for wine knowledge including flavor profiles and talking points of current list along with pricing guidelines
- process all point of sale transactions in a quick and efficient manner
- build guest loyalty and enhance selling skills through the use of training materials
- work together with fellow employees and management to ensure all guests have the best experience possible
- maintain a clean organized work environment
- support other areas of the bar such as seating customers, answering telephones, stock work, cleanup, and documentation
- respond appropriately to guest concerns
- maintain current adult beverage certification and ensure responsible service of alcohol
