Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years industry experience in server capacity preferably in fine dining establishment
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Obtain Utah state approved liquor handler’s certification within 90 days of hire
  • Willingness to follow all company and safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years industry experience in server capacity preferably in fine dining establishment emphasizing quality and precise technical service
  • Good communication, organization and concentration skills
  • Ability to work with other servers and all department staff as a team to attain consistent execution of department standards
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Attain Utah state approved liquor handler’s certification within 90 days of hire and produce and retain certificate

Job Duties

  • Set up kitchen and dining room work areas in a timely, thorough and consistent manner
  • Maintain all work areas in a neat, efficient manner during service
  • Present a knowledgeable, professional demeanor at all times during service
  • Prioritize, organize and maintain efficiency as work volume fluctuates
  • Use high level technical service practices
  • Display knowledgeable command of menu items and products offered in his/her outlet, as well as specific Lodge and general local and greater area information
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with all co-workers including kitchen staff to expedite food order entry, pick-up and service
  • Ensure adherence to all house policies and state regulations for liquor service and smoking
  • Accurately, promptly and responsibly collect payment and signed guest checks at conclusion of guest service
  • Reconcile all receipts, sales reporting and shift close paperwork accurately and consistently
  • Perform clean up, break down and re-set of work station and dining room thoroughly and efficiently
