Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment
  • Passion for delivering unparalleled hospitality and excellent service
  • Computer literacy with ability to learn Aloha POS system
  • Accuracy in transactions and cash-handling skills
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the service area organized, stocked, and clean
  • Ability to obtain relevant training certificate and/or licensure

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn and operate the Aloha POS system
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment
  • Positive attitude and a passion for excellent guest service
  • Basic math skills for transaction accuracy
  • Ability to pass relevant training and certification requirements

Job Duties

  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Interact with guests in an efficient, hospitable, and professional manner from the beginning to the end of their experience
  • Greet the guest in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions
  • Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items
  • Assess guests' needs and preferences to make recommendations
  • Record the details of the order from the guests
  • Input the order into the Point of Sale to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order being placed
  • Immediately communicate any food or service issues to management
  • Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
  • Follow up on guest requests and pre-bus tables throughout service
  • Deliver food and beverage orders within established timeframes
  • Multi-task and assist teammates
  • Work at a fast pace
  • Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • Complete assigned sidework
  • Bus and reset tables as needed
  • Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age
