Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of serving experience required
- willingness to obtain TIPS certification within 30 days, paid by The Vendue
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- frequent reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying trays
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- manual dexterity to handle serving equipment and POS systems
- must meet South Carolina minimum age requirements to serve alcohol

Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming, upbeat first impression
- take food and beverage orders accurately and answer menu questions with confidence
- deliver drinks and food quickly while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- check in with guests throughout service to ensure an exceptional experience
- present checks and process payments accurately and efficiently
- maintain clean, organized tables and service stations during and after service
- complete side work such as stocking, cleaning, and resetting tables
- support teammates and assist other departments as needed
- help with special events or banquets when scheduled
- serve as a knowledgeable resource for hotel amenities and local Charleston attractions
