Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior server experience in fine dining or senior living preferred
  • Valid food handler certification
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time hours including weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical capability to clear and transport dishes
  • Commitment to customer service excellence

  • Provides prompt, friendly and professional service
  • Capable of removing dirty dishes, linens, glassware and flatware from tables and counters
  • Attentive to timely water refills and ongoing service throughout dining experience

Job Duties

  • Prepare tables, present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
  • Remain knowledgeable about posted daily specials
  • Write food order and relay order to kitchen, serve courses from kitchen and service bars
  • Clear and reset counters or tables at conclusion of each course
  • Assist in keeping dining tables and chairs, floors, linens and serving stations clean, bussed and stocked
  • Maintain required food handlers certifications
