Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- availability to work full-time or part-time including weekends
- must maintain food handler certification
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a server in a fine dining or similar environment
- ability to work weekdays and weekends
- team-oriented attitude
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to provide prompt, friendly and professional service
- ability to manage table settings including dirty dishes, linens, glassware and flatware
- attentive to guests’ dining experience and timely water refills
Job Duties
- Prepare tables, present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
- remain knowledgeable about posted daily specials
- write food order and relay order to kitchen, serve courses from kitchen and service bars
- clear and reset counters or tables at conclusion of each course
- assist in keeping dining tables and chairs, floors, linens and serving stations clean, bussed and stocked
- maintain required food handlers certifications
