Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts with some mornings and lunch hours
- Ability to stand and walk over two-thirds of the time
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication and listening skills
- Willingness to participate in training and supervisory duties
- Commitment to following all policies and maintaining a safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Post high school degree preferred
- Minimum two years full-time experience in a related hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of wines, beer and spirits is an asset
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to remember, recite and promote menu items
- Bartending skills are an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service for The Class Act and In-Room Dining while handling customers’ needs effectively
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment and relay any deficiencies to supervisors
- Participate in departmental meetings, interdepartmental meetings, pre-shift meetings and incentive programs
- Understand and practice “Serving Alcohol with Care” principles
- Adhere to all environment policies and procedures as required
- Regular and consistent attendance at work
- Perform other related work duties as assigned
