Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts with some mornings and lunch hours
  • Ability to stand and walk over two-thirds of the time
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Willingness to participate in training and supervisory duties
  • Commitment to following all policies and maintaining a safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Post high school degree preferred
  • Minimum two years full-time experience in a related hospitality setting preferred
  • Knowledge of wines, beer and spirits is an asset
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to remember, recite and promote menu items
  • Bartending skills are an asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service for The Class Act and In-Room Dining while handling customers’ needs effectively
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment and relay any deficiencies to supervisors
  • Participate in departmental meetings, interdepartmental meetings, pre-shift meetings and incentive programs
  • Understand and practice “Serving Alcohol with Care” principles
  • Adhere to all environment policies and procedures as required
  • Regular and consistent attendance at work
  • Perform other related work duties as assigned
