- Minimum of one year hotel environment experience
- Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
- Guest-oriented and service-minded

Job Duties
- Present menu, answer questions, make suggestions regarding food and beverage
- Adhere to all responsible alcohol consumption requirements as dictated by the state
- Sell alcohol and food items effectively
- Use a computer to ring orders on a check
- Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Accept different types of payment and make change
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Clear and reset tables promptly
- Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service politely if necessary
- Observe guest behavior when consuming alcoholic beverages, offer a taxi if needed, and involve a manager when appropriate
- Ensure all guests are treated to guarantee complete satisfaction and strive to exceed their expectations
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and good personal hygiene
- Pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a minimum score of 90 percent
- Perform any other duties assigned by the manager
