Job Requirements

  • minimum 2 years of front-of-house experience in food service
  • supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including some evenings weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 2 years of front-of-house experience in food service
  • supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • experience in a healthcare or senior living environment is highly desirable
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for serving seniors
  • working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to lead a team with empathy efficiency and professionalism
  • must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • supervise daily dining room operations including scheduling and assigning duties to front-of-house staff
  • ensure a high standard of customer service with attention to the needs of elderly residents
  • train coach and support servers to promote a positive team environment and professional service
  • monitor dining room cleanliness table settings and adherence to sanitation guidelines
  • collaborate with dietary and healthcare teams to ensure compliance with resident dietary requirements and medical needs
  • address resident concerns or feedback with professionalism and care
  • assist in onboarding new staff and conducting ongoing training sessions
